The original layout of the kitchen was not very happy. With regard to the doors and windows there was only one possible solution within 2 lines that hindered to an appropriate location of the dining table. It was therefore necessary a reconstruction of the entire room. The chamber door had to be moved that gives the space needed to place a large dining table and L-shaped cabinets into the kitchen.
The new disposition
Designing this kitchen it was also necessary to respect the style of the living room, which was directly connected to the kitchen. The owners had a collection of paintings and antiques since they moved into the new building from a 1930’s Prague villa . Master of the house had an pretty unusual request to create a bench-bed, where he could comfortably spend an afternoon siesta.
