Library – family house, 2014

A Beautiful bright attic space designated for the library was not difficult to equippe. A carpet on the floor was replaced by a massive oak parquet. A floor laying was made by Heth.

The bookcase was logically placed into one corner with no bevelled  ceiling. The investror’s requirement  was simple – an efficient design and a quality material. That’s why he I chosen oak to exploit its potential. The library was designed with massive banisters and shelves variable as needed. Custom made brackets supplied by a firm Sekal were used for the bottom cabinets, designed for home administration. A part of the library is also a hubcap for heating. The entire contract was carried out perfectly by joinery Josef Vana from Malé Hraštice near Prague.
